Requirements for Applicants
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Social Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or related field
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with appropriate EC-6, 4-8, or 7-12 Social Studies certification
• Strong knowledge of the TEKS and best practices in social
studies instruction
• Ability to engage students in critical
thinking, inquiry, and discussion
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration
• Proficiency with MS Office Software & Google Suite
• Legal work Authorization Status
