Everest Academy offers classes for Grades Pre-Kindergarten through High School.

Students applying to Pre-Kindergarten and Developmental Kindergarten must be 3 and 4 years old respectively by September 30th of the academic year that the student is to attend school. They must be toilet trained before starting school.

New enrollees in the middle of the school year are subject to placement exams as well as probation during their first grading period.

Students should be fully toilet trained and emotionally ready for enrollment at Everest. We understand that children may experience some regression as they adjust to new environments. Therefore, students will have a 4-week adjustment period to acclimate to their new school routines and surroundings. If a student has three or more toileting accidents in a week, they will need to stay home for a minimum of one week for toilet training with their parents. If the student’s toileting skills do not improve after this period, they will be removed from the PK enrollment and placed back on the waiting list. They may re-enroll once they are fully toilet trained and space becomes available. In addition to being toilet trained, PK and DK students are expected to follow classroom rules and demonstrate age-appropriate behavior. For any recurring disciplinary issues or significant separation anxiety, the School Counselor will collaborate with parents to develop an appropriate action plan.

Prekindergarten & Developmental Kindergarten:

  • Students should be fully toilet trained and emotionally ready.
  • Students have a 4-week period to adjust to their new school routines and surroundings.
  • Students who have 3 toileting accidents in a week will be asked to stay at home for at least a week for toilet training by parents.  Students whose skills have not improved afterward will no longer be eligible for PK enrollment and their applications will be placed back on the waiting list. They can re-enroll after they are fully toilet trained and space is available.
  • Students are expected to follow classroom expectations and adhere to age-appropriate behavior. In case of recurring disciplinary incidents & excessive separation anxiety from parents, the School Counselor will work with parents for appropriate plan of action.
