ENDORSEMENTS

-Everest students automatically earn two endorsements:

  • Arts & Humanities via the Global Language Pathway
  • Multidisciplinary Studies via the 4×4 Pathway.

-Additional endorsements can be completed via dual enrollment elective course offerings.

DUAL ENROLLMENT

  • Partnership with Lone Star College with a dedicated Academic Advisor from LSC for our students.
  • Students can earn 21+ college credits.
  • Access to a wide variety of subjects
  • College classes at a 75% reduced tuition fee
  • Flexibility to attend courses onsite at LSC or on the Everest campus
  • Dual Credit classes on the Everest campus, will be proctored by an Everest Academy Instructor.
  • Each college course offers its own tutoring and office hours for additional support.

SOAR Program

Service * Opportunity * Advocacy * Recognition

  • The State of Texas requires 60 hours of volunteer service to graduate.
  • Everest Academy requires 100 hours.
  • SOAR allows students to keep a record of their hours in an organized, properly documented way.
  • The Program will also create volunteer opportunities each year for students.
  • Upon successful completion of the program, students will be recognized at Graduation.

ATHLETIC PROGRAM

  • Competitive Boys & Girls Basketball teams
  • Professional training by qualified coaches
  • Facilitating games with other schools during the season
  • 4 years = 4 high school credits for Athletics – Team Sports.

EVEREST ENROLLMENT PROCESS

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

  • Passing academic report card from the previous year
  • Passing STAAR or EOC Results
  • Disciplinary and behavioral evaluations or a Character Reference Letter from prior school

ENROLLMENT STEPS

  • Complete an enrollment application on the school’s website.
  • Submit all required documents, which will be outlined via email.
  • Set up a phone call with Sr. Rasha (Admissions Coordinator) to finalize enrollment
  • Submit all fees

LONE STAR COLLEGE ENROLLMENT PROCESS

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

  • Passing score of 350 on TSIA ELA and 351 on TSIA Math.
  • Completion of the LSC application
  • Must maintain passing grades in all college courses to remain in the program.
