Admissions

HOME | ADMISSIONS

Effective from January 2025, Everest Academy has launched a new admissions process to streamline its current practices and to better manage its waitlist applications that have grown many folds.

Due to high demand, limited seats, and the need to better manage the wait list,  applications will not roll over from one year to the next year. The waitlist will be cleared each year and start fresh for next year’s window, as the student and family needs and circumstances change each year.

The PK3 Application process for the 2026-2027 school year will remain the same, as some families have already applied. For the 2027-2028 school year, the PK3 waiting list will be open to the public.

All Students, current or new, will now need to enroll annually. The new process applies to grades PK 4 (Pre Kindergarten – 4 years old) through Grade 12.

Re-enrollment Window

Registration window for existing students is from December 19 through January 31st.

The enrollment application is published in Quickschools for parents to re-enroll their students.

New Enrollment Window

New students must submit the waitlist application via our website from January 6 through February 28. The application is active on our website during the window. Due to limited seats, the number of applications is capped to 30.

Starting around mid-February, waitlisted applicants are contacted in the priority order outlined below. Students must meet academic requirements, including passing report cards and standardized test scores. If they do not meet these requirements, then we will move on to the next applicant on the list. Applying families must complete the enrollment process within 3 days including the day of advice of enrollment.

Admission priority order

  1. Staff children
  2. Applicants with siblings attending Everest
  3. Other applicants on a first come, first serve basis

Admission Assessment Policy

Students who do not provide state standardized test results, as well as those applying after the first day of the academic year are required to sit for a free admission assessment administered by the school.

To meet admission requirements, students must score 70% or higher on the admission assessment. Students who do not meet the minimum score may retake the assessment one time only, after a waiting period of one month. A $25 assessment retake fee will apply.

Students who score in the borderline range may be considered for acceptance on academic probation, which includes ongoing progress monitoring and required academic support.
